Before Linda Perry wrote smash hits for Pink (Get The Party Started) and Christina Aguilera (Beautiful), she had a big hit of her own. As front person for the rock group 4 Non Blondes she recorded one of the most recognizable and yet annoying songs of the 90's. The song "What's Up" was an instant hit and Perry unusual vocals made the song had to turn off. Unfortunetly, her unusual vocals were also a big reason that many people began to dread hearing the song.
